Bio:
Dan has been a DJ since 1987. Raised in the East Bay for almost all of his life, Dan is a graduate of U.C. Berkeley, a career media professional and in addition to DJ'ing, is a sales director for a local media company. Dan's love for music and dancing grew into a passion for DJ'ing and Dan has DJ'd numerous events including weddings, corporate parties, and anniversaries. Highly interactive with his audience, Dan is often in the middle of the action whether it's planning and MC'ing a game show for a company event or leading the audience to do the "hustle", the "conga", the "cha-cha or electric slide", or ballroom dances. While Dan has an extensive musical background ranging from oldies to hip-hop to country, his favorites include ballroom music, disco, and spinning old school mixes.

Jody,  I am so sorry it's taken this long but I wanted to thank you again for everything. Dan was the perfect DJ for our wedding! He did an outstanding job! We didn't get to talk until 2 days before the wedding (my fault) and he pulled it off without a hitch. My dad put so much pressure on me finding a great DJ and I was really worried. I tried to see him perform before hand numerous times but I never got the chance.

Everyone danced the entire evening and is still talking about how much fun they had. He covered everything. Dan really made the overall wedding a success. Thanks again for all your help and I can assure you, I will be recommending you for future events here at the Hyatt!

All I want to say is that Dan was the best!  He went out of his way to meet with me prior to the wedding and on the big day he was very helpful!  We didn't have a lot of the traditional happenings at the wedding (garter, bouquet toss, money dance, etc) so I thought our guests were getting tired so I told Dan he could end early.  He said "No, trust me, they're having a good time!  And he was right!  Nothing but praise about how good the reception was, especially the music.  Thanks so much Dan!  ~Raquel B.

 We had the pleasure of working with your DJ, Dan, at our June 5, 2004 wedding at Ruby Hill Golf Club.  Dan is amazing!  When we first met Dan, we felt very comfortable with him and knew that he would be the perfect person to DJ our wedding.  He was very familiar with the different styles of music we wanted from Salsa, Cha-Cha, to 80’s and Hip Hop.

 Dan met with us prior to the wedding to go over all the details.  He was full of ideas and suggestions.  On the wedding day, Dan was incredible.  He was professional, patient, flexible, fun, and kept everyone dancing throughout the night.  We have received so many compliments from our guests about what a great DJ we had.

 What was especially nice was that Dan created a special mix to be used for our bridal party introductions.  It was AWESOME!   Dan played all the songs we requested and kept a great “flow” throughout the evening.  Dan also emceed our wedding and the words he chose to introduce one event to the next were perfect.   Dan is such a pleasure to work with and we would definitely recommend him to anyone we know.   Thank you!
