Favorite TV Shows:  24, Prison Break, Miami Ink Hobbies:  Motorcycle Riding, Softball, Snowboarding, Mountain Bike Riding Favorite Music: I truly love it all including, the Old Standards like Sinatra and Bennett to new Hip-Hop and rock like Jack Johnson, Maroon 5 and the like.  I used to spin a lot of house music in the clubs back in the late 90's and still have a love for it as well.  However, programming a fresh mix of music for each event is my strength. Specialties:  I'm stepping away from DJ'ing a bit and going for the larger productions.  I have been Production Manager for many large events like Award Shows, Conferences, Fashion Shows, Fund Raisers, Large Private Events and more combining many of the services that we offer here including Staging, Lighting, Audio Visual Support, Graphic Design, Trussing, Rigging as well as DJ and MC services.  If you have a large event, call on me to put it together for you.

Bio: 

Fresh out of High School in 1990, I began studies in Business Administration and Mass Communications at Las Positas and Chabot College.  That same year, I bought my first DJ system and began DJ'ing weddings for my sister and her friends.  From there, I got into School Dances, College parties, and Q-Zar arenas  - yes, I said Q-Zar!  ;-)  I DJ'ed many different events all while I continued to grow in the wedding industry.

Throughout the 90's and early 2000's, I went on to DJ major clubs like Maestro’s, Blue Tattoo, Lime Light, BackBeat, The Beach, The Marque, Ruby Skye, ShBoom and many other clubs throughout the bay area.  I have also DJ’d for a variety of celebrities, including Jerry Rice, Huey Lewis, Sheila E , Pete Escovido, Curt Schilling, Sidney Frank (the Grey Goose, Jaegermiester guy), and Chris Cohan (owner of GS Warriors).  

In 2004, I began writing product reviews for our largest trade publication, DJ Times International.  Manufacturers continue to send me brand new products to test and share with the rest of the DJ world. 

In August of 2006, I was a panelist on the “New Technology” seminar held at the International DJ Expo in Atlantic City.  I spoke to hundreds of DJ's from around the world about new trends on the horizons.  This was a huge honor for me and I'm looking forward to doing it again next year.

I drew upon the experience I'd gained over the years, DJ’ing for thousands of events including weddings, corporate events, school dances, private parties and night clubs throughout the Bay Area.

The variety of DJ’ing I have done over the years has shaped me into the DJ I am today.  I can be the perfect host for your wedding and still throw down some beat-matching mixes to keep the energy level high on the dance floor.  I pride myself on music programming and playing great songs at the right time.  I have seen many, many DJ’s play great songs but at the wrong time.  I try to stay away from the "cheesy" music and just play better music unless the party really calls for it.

I enjoy music from all genres, but my ideal events are for the partiers that like a variety of dance music including Disco, Funk, Eighties, Rock, Hip Hop and Top 40.  With this style of music and my mixing ability, I can take a great party to a higher level!

Our organization, National Charity League of Saratoga/Los Gatos has used Amos Production’s services for our Senior Recognition event for the past several years.  We had them prepare a voice over reflection for each girl, a video montage and DJ our event.  I found them to be prompt and approachable for every little request we had.  Our event involved mothers and daughters and we say it’s like having 22 “Mothers of the Bride” and Jody and his team managed to keep them all happy.  Jody worked with me for months before the event and was there on the day to make sure every little detail was covered.  He set the event up so that everyone in the room could see the video and clearly hear what was being said, it required a lot of attention to detail, everything went flawlessly.  I would and have recommended his services to other groups.  Both our High School grad night and senior dance committee have selected Amos Productions to do their events.  Sincerely,
